Meet Dr. Pita

Dr. Pita is a certified orthodontic specialist. He attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California achieving his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1982. He then attended dental school at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry graduating in 1986. Upon completion of his General Practice Residency in general and hospital dentistry from Foster McGaw Hospital / Loyola University of Chicago School of Dentistry in 1988, Dr. Pita was accepted into Temple University's School of Dentistry Graduate Orthodontic Residency Program, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He successfully completed his orthodontic residency at Temple University in 1991 and received his post-doctoral Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) degree and Certificate in Orthodontics.

Dr. Pita continued his education by attending the Roth-Williams Orthodontic Course at the University of Detroit / Mercey School of Dentistry from 2006-2008 and received his certification in Advanced Education in Orthodontics, TMJ, functional occlusion, and surgical orthodontics.

Dr. Pita is a member in excellent standing of many local and national dental and orthodontic societies including the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the Academy for Orthodontic Excellence Study Club. He prides himself on constantly seeking the continuing education courses that enhance the patient experience. Technology is his passion, as is total excellence. He views orthodontics not just as a profession, but more importantly, as a mind-set. This will become obvious when you meet Dr. Pita and his team.

Dr. Pita is dedicated to his profession and enjoys the day-to-day experiences that working with patients of all ages provides. He currently practices in the Burbank, California area.
